Moorings

Moorings

The sheltered Salcombe estuary is an incredibly beautiful place to have a mooring; however this does mean that the demand for moorings is intense, with a waiting list of many years for your own mooring.

Fortunately, we have our own moorings and can offer you deep water, foreshore, swinging and pontoon moorings, with moorings being available weekly, monthly or for the entire summer season.

Our Shadycombe pontoon moorings are easily accessible from Batson Creek carpark; with all other moorings being accessible via tenders or the harbour taxi. If we are around on the water then we will be happy to give you a lift.

Choice of moorings does depend on the length of your boat, with the Harbour Authority, understandably, needing to impose some restrictions with certain moorings – the best thing is to give us a call and we can have a chat through your individual requirements.

NB If you are visiting Salcombe from the water then please contact Salcombe Harbour Authority for a Visitor’s Mooring:
